Pinterest vs Facebook

Bottica, the world’s independent jewelers who have featured in magazines including Vogue, Elle, Glamour and Bazaar have produced a great infographic looking at what they learnt from analysing a sample of 50,000 visitors from Pinterest and 50,000 from Facebook.

It’s crazy to think that the visual pin board had 500k members last year and now has over 13 million making it the fastest growing social network in the world. Between the two, Pinterest wins hands down with visual pins and click-through to the website of a picture. This I’m sure has drawn through a ridiculous amount of traffic and revenue for retailers round the world. I’ve not bought anything from Facebook. Nothing from the adverts down the sides of my timeline or on a retailer’s online Facebook store.

Have you bought anything from either site?
